Depiction: Flowers clustered in dense heads, 1 to many per plant; petals 5, white to red, with one large petal (banner), 2 lateral small petals (wings) and 2 lower petals which form a boat-like structure (Keel) which cover stamens and style. Stamens 10 and fused, ovary single and superior with a long style and button-like stigma. Head diameter 1.5-2cm.
